A perfect balance between absorbency and wet strength. After absorbing the exudate, the dressing swells to form a transparent gel, preventing leakage and maceration, and maintaining the optimal moist healing environment. High wet strength enables dressing removal in one piece. It is also flexible to fill cavity wounds, with easy application and removal.

KIS Alginate is a sterilised wound dressing which is composed of calcium alginate (a gelatinous and water insoluble fibre derived from seaweed).
When in contact with a wound, the calcium alginate reacts with the sodium chloride in the wound and turns the dressing into a hydrophilic gel-like consistency.
